Gunnar Schendera - Hair and Makeup Artist
Gunnar Schendera grew up in Germany with a dream to become an international hair and makeup artist. After finishing business high school, he traveled to Italy to study his craft in preparation for what has become a very successful career. Since 1994, Gunnar has worked as a makeup artist for some of the best-known brands in the world. Today he makes his home in both Europe and the United states.
David Goetze - Photographer
David Goetze grew up in Baltimore and was educated in New York. His passion for the outdoors, and incurable wanderlust, and an excitement for the discovery of unusual and extreme shapes, colors, and textures in nature has led to a successful career in location fashion photography. When not on assignment David is an organic farmer in beautiful Port Townsend Washington.
Emily Barnes - Stylist
Emily grew up in London but moved to NYC to pursue her career in fashion. Her extensive knowledge of and exquisite taste in fashion is matched by her deep understanding of art and photography, which has led to her involvement with brand consultancy and editorial styling for the past six years. When styling the looks for Børn this season, she was very focused on the repurposing of resources, scouring vintage markets and supporting local artisans to source each look she created.
Thomas McClaskie - President and Creative Director
Børn President and Creative Director, Thomas McClaskie, has enjoyed a long and successful career in the shoe industry, where his eye for design and his business savvy have helped him create, launch and build many famous shoe brands. Due in large part to his unwavering passion, and the extraordinary brand culture Tom has created and nurtured, Børn Footwear has become one of the most beloved shoe brands in the country.
