Eligibility: Employees, officers, and directors (and their immediate families defined as parents, children, siblings, spouses) of B.H. Shoe Holdings ("Sponsor"), its parent company, subsidiaries, divisions, affiliates, and agencies (as applicable), are not eligible. Offered only in the United States and the District of Columbia. Do not participate if you are not located in the United States.

Entry Period: The Sweepstakes begins at 9 AM (EST) on Wednesday, April 2nd, 2025 (the "Entry Period"). and ends at 8:59 AM (EST) on Thursday, April 3rd, 2025.

How To Enter: Enter this Sweepstakes during the Entry Period for a chance to win a new pair of Born Shoes. Only One (1) Entry per Person Permitted During the Entry Period.

To Enter, You Must Follow The Following Steps:

  1. Be a member of our Broadcast Channel "Join the Comfortsation"
  2. Add to the giveaway prompt a picture of your Born Shoes

Both steps must be completed for entry to be valid.

Prize Winner Selection / Notification: There will be (1) winner (each, a "Prize Winner") randomly selected among all eligible entries received during the Entry Period. The random drawing will occur on Thursday, April 3rd, 2025. The random drawing will be conducted by the Sponsor or its designee using random.org or similar automated drawing site or other randomization methods selected in its sole discretion. Odds of winning depend on the number of eligible entries received during entry period. A purchase does not increase your chance of winning. Prize Winners will be contacted through email and will have until 8AM (EST) on Monday, April 7th, 2025 (the "Reply Period") to respond.

Sponsor will not be responsible for any potential prize winner's failure to respond within the requisite timeframe.

Prize; Claiming Your Prize; Validation: Each Prize Winner will be entitled to receive one (1) pair of Born Shoes in the "New Arrivals" collection on bornshoes.com. The approximate retail value (ARV) of each Prize is $150. The approximate aggregate retail value of all Prizes to be awarded during the Sweepstakes Entry Period is $150. Each Prize Winner will be required to provide his/her [shoe/boot size], name, shipping address (only in the continental United States) and telephone number to message Born's Facebook or Instagram page before the expiration of the Reply Period. All selections are subject to availability. If a potential Prize Winner does not email his/her selection before expiration of the Reply Period or if a Prize Winner is found to be ineligible or has not complied with these Official Rules, then the potential Prize Winner will be disqualified and an alternate Prize Winner will be randomly selected from among the remaining eligible entries received.

Sponsor will not be responsible for any potential prize winner's failure to respond within the requisite timeframe.

General Prize Terms: The value of a Prize will be taxable to Prize Winner as income. Taxes (if any) on a Prize are the Prize Winner's sole responsibility. Each Prize Winner must supply Sponsor with his/her social security number for income tax reporting purposes. An IRS Form 1099 will be issued in the name of the Prize Winner for the actual value of the prize received. Upon entry into the Sweepstakes, the Prize Winner (as well as all other entrants) is required to comply with any and all applicable federal, state, and local laws. The Sponsor shall have no responsibility or obligation to a Prize Winner or a potential Prize Winner who is unable or unavailable to accept or utilize the Prize as described herein. Only the listed Prizes will be awarded and no substitutions, cash equivalents or redemptions will be made, except that Sponsor reserves the right at its sole discretion to substitute a Prize with another prize of equal or greater value in the event that the advertised Prize is not available. The Prize may not be transferred, conveyed, assigned, or auctioned to any other person.

Publicity: Except where prohibited by law, by entering this Sweepstakes, a Prize Winner's acceptance of a prize constitutes permission for Sponsor and administrators to use such Prize Winner's name, address (city and state only) for any advertising and promotional purposes relating to the Sweepstakes without further notice, compensation, consideration, review, or consent.

General Terms: Noncompliance with any of these Official Rules may result in disqualification. The Sponsor assumes no responsibility for incorrect or inaccurate entry information whether caused by equipment or programming associated with or utilized in this Sweepstakes or by any human error which may occur in the processing of entries. The Sponsor is not responsible for any problems or technical malfunction of any telephone network or lines, computer online systems, servers, or providers, computer equipment, software, failure of any e-mail service, or traffic congestion on the Internet or at any web site, or any combination thereof, including, without limitation, any injury or damage to entrant's or any other person's computer related to or resulting from participation in this Sweepstakes. The Sponsor is not responsible for any typographical or other error in the printing of the offer, administration of the Sweepstakes, or in the announcement of the Prize and Prize Winner. If, for any reason, the Sweepstakes is not capable of running as planned, including, without limitation, infection by computer virus, bugs, tampering, unauthorized intervention, fraud, technical failures, or any other causes beyond the control of the Sponsor which corrupt or affect the administration, security, fairness, integrity or proper conduct of this Sweepstakes, the Sponsor reserves the right in its sole discretion to cancel, terminate, or modify the Sweepstakes and select a winner from among all eligible entries received up until and or after (if applicable) the time of modification, cancellation or termination or in a manner that is fair and equitable as determined by the Sponsor. All interpretations of these Official Rules and decisions by the Sponsor are final. No software- generated, robotic, programmed, script, macro or other automated online or text message entries are permitted.

Caution:

Any attempt by any entrant to deliberately damage any web site or undermine the legitimate operation of the sweepstakes is a violation of criminal and civil laws and should such an attempt be made, sponsor reserves the right to seek damages from any such entrant to the fullest extent permitted by law.

Governing Law / Limitation of Liability:

The Connecticut courts (state and federal) shall have sole jurisdiction of any controversies regarding the Sweepstakes and the laws of the state of Connecticut shall govern the sweepstakes. Each entrant/participant waives any and all objections to jurisdiction and venue in those courts and hereby submit to the jurisdiction of those courts.

Any and all claims made by any entrant or participant in the Sweepstakes shall be limited to actual out-of-pocket costs incurred, including costs associated with entering this Sweepstakes, but in no event attorneys' fees. Entrants waive any claims for punitive, incidental, and consequential damages.

Indemnification: Entrants agree to indemnify and hold harmless Sponsor, its parent company, subsidiaries, divisions, affiliates, and agencies, their officers, directors and employees (the "Released Parties") from any and all liability, loss or damage or other liability of any kind (including attorneys' fees) to persons, including death, or property damage resulting in whole or in part, directly or indirectly, from the acceptance, use of any prize or any participation in the Sweepstakes, to release all rights to bring any claim, action or proceeding against the Released Parties, or any one of them, and hereby acknowledge that said Released Parties have neither made nor are in any manner responsible or liable for any warranty, representation or guarantee, express or implied, in fact or in law, relative to any prize.

Prize Winner List: The name of the Prize Winners may be obtained at any time during the Entry Period and no later than 30 days following the Entry Period by sending a self-addressed stamped envelope to: B.H.
