Mexican Blanket Collection

Since 2002, the talented blanket weavers of Santa Ana del Valle, a small town in Mexico, have brought their authentic craft to select styles in our Heritage collection. From their village in the southern state of Oaxaca, these skilled craftspeople create the traditional woolen blanket textiles that are featured in the uppers of some of our unique footwear. The wool is hand-dyed for each blanket and then expertly hand-loomed in custom patterns and colorations that are unique to Børn. This special partnership brings the incredible work of the people of Santa Ana del Valle and surrounding communities to the world while helping to provide a consistent source of income that helps sustain these artisans and their families.
